A verbal update...

Addison Grace is 1 year, 1 month and 1 week old...

(This post was written when she really was 1 year, 1 month and 1 week old... somehow it was saved in the drafts instead of being posted on the site.. I appologize that you are all seeing it about a month late... info is still about the same though. I'll update more and post pictures soon... lots going on here!!)

* She weighs almost 18 lbs.
* She only has a size two foot... (Average 1 year old is a size 5...)
* She still wares a size two diaper... Kids in her class all wear a 4-5... This makes it very funny if she runs out of diapers before I remember to bring more in... She comes home in a huge diaper that is wrapped around her almost twice!! Too cute!
* She still wears all her 3-6 month clothing... (The onsies fit fine, a few of the paints are a bit short, but all are fin in the waist...)Yet amazingly, some of the 6-9 and 9-12 cloting works too... She is going to be just as hard to shop for as I am!
* Her main clothing problem is shirts that do not un-button to go over her head...
* She is cutting molars... It's not fun...
* Due to the Molar pain, she is very clingy and needy, and it makes her so very cute!
* This molar pain has also taught her to say MaMa and know that it is mom she is looking for... while reaching up with her arms and opening and closing her fists...
* There is a bully in her classroom that pushes her down and steals her binky animal... (little stuffed animals that attach binky to baby.)
* She likes everything we have ever fed her and is not picky at all.
* She still drinks a bottle of formula at night, probably more for my comfort and not wanting her to grow up than for her benifit.
* She loves her stuffed animals and always picks one to bring out of the crib with her when she wakes up, a different one every time.
* She has begun to enter the stage where going out to eat at a restaurant is not fun with her.
* She had her first "Mr. Bubble bubble bath" last night... Even though it was the “gentile formula” it caused her legs to be all red for hours... Back to Baby Bee Products only again...
* She walks very well and has great coordination...
* She climbs everything, especially me...
* She knows what to do with a telephone when she sees one.
* Everyone calls her Pebbles when we are out...
* The only tv show that grabs her attention is Blues Clues... Could be worse like the Wiggles...
* She will not sit still and let me read to her yet, not even with silly voices!
* Everything she picks up goes straight to her mouth.
* She won't leave Dog food and water alone.
* When mommy tells her no, she points her pointer finger at me at gives me a very stern look...
* She will throw herself on the floor and scream if she does not want put down...
* Going to the big one year old room at day care was hard for a week, but better now...
* She is still in desperate need of two naps but day care will only allow one in that toom.
* Day care feds her the junk food that I refuse to let her try.
* She has been in trouble for pinching other kids in class.
* Her giggle is amazing and always makes me laugh or cry!
* She is just to cute!
